We place an encumbrance on your account if you do not pay your fees, charges or fines. This means you will not be able to access library, computer or enrolment services. You cannot see your exam results, request academic records (transcripts) or graduate. We will send you a letter if this happens.
We will invalidate (cancel) your enrolment if you do not pay your debts.
If you are encumbered
To remove an encumbrance and have access to services restored, you need to pay your debt. Once paid, this may take up to three working days, regardless of the payment method. For payment options, see pay your fees.
If your access is not returned within three days, you can request help in ask.monash.
