At Monash, we recognise and celebrate the rich diversity of our community, including students and staff who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, intersex, queer and questioning, asexual and aromantic, plus other related identities (LGBTIQA+). We want to ensure your experience at Monash, and within the broader community, is one of being included, safe, respected, and supported.

To help make this happen, we provide training for our students, organise LGBTIQA+ events, develop policy and resources, and coordinate the Ally Network. We also support the trans and gender diverse community throughout the process of gender transition and affirmation and provide all-gender toilets on campus.
