Start times and duration of final assessments
Start times
For semester one and two final assessments, Monash University holds three assessment sessions per day (but you'll never have to sit more than two assessments in one day). Each session has two start times, shown below in Melbourne time – make sure you check your timetable in Allocate+ to confirm which start time you're allocated to:
- Semester one:
- session one – 9am or 9.30am (and 10am for Malaysia only)
- session two – 1pm or 1.30pm
- session three – 5pm or 5.30pm.
- Semester two:
- session one – 10am or 10.30am (and 11am for Malaysia only)
- session two – 2pm or 2.30pm
- session three – 6pm or 6.30pm.
Other final assessment periods throughout the year will have only two assessment sessions, but may have alternative start times.
If you're enrolled at our:
