Replacing your ID card (M-Pass)

If your ID card has been lost or damaged, you can order a replacement through shop.monash.

You should receive your new card in the mail within ten days.

Expired cards

If your ID card has expired, email cardoffice.m-pass@monash.edu and we'll send you a replacement for free.

Stolen cards

If your ID card has been stolen, we'll replace it for free if you provide us with a Notice to the Victim report (NTVR).

  1. When you notify police that your card has been stolen, ask for the NTVR (the police will provide this for free).
  2. Email the report to cardoffice.m-pass@monash.edu along with a copy of your driver's licence or passport and we'll send a replacement ID card to you in the mail (if you're unable to get an NTVR, you can send us the report number instead).

Security access on your card

When you receive your replacement card, allow up to 24 hours for security access to be enabled (if you’ve requested this).

Getting a new photo on your card

If you need a replacement card, email cardoffice.m-pass@monash.edu from your staff email account with your preferred postal address. You should receive your new card in the mail within five to ten days.
