Allocate+ Student Timetable Planner
To help you plan your unit selection and personal timetable, Allocate+ has a Student Timetable Planner. You can access this planner from when preference entry opens to when allocation adjustment closes (see Allocate+ dates).
You can use the planner to draft multiple versions of your timetable – with units you’re enrolled in, or units you’re considering enrolling in.
Allocate+ can directly transfer your draft timetable over and allocate you into your chosen activities (if there’s space available). To do this, you need to be enrolled in the units in the Web Enrolment System (WES).
How to create a timetable planner
Access the Student Timetable Planner
- Log into Allocate+
- From the menu along the top, click Planner.
Your units are listed on the left, with their class activities.
Create a planner
1. The units you're enrolled in are pre-selected. Deselect any units you don’t want in your plan.
2. You can add units you're considering enrolling in by using the Not Enrolled search bar – just click the box next to any units you want to add.
3. Click the Generate button.
Once generated, the planner shows the unit activities you're already allocated to in green, and the units you’re not enrolled in (planned) in blue.
You can also click the Show as list button if you want to view your plan as a simple list.
When viewing your plan as a list, Enrolled and Not Enrolled units are listed separately.
If you wish to save your plan, click the Save icon along the top and a pop-up notification will ask you to name your new plan.
To view the plan in a weekly calendar view, click the grid icon in the top right corner.
During allocation adjustment, you can directly allocate yourself into a unit by clicking the Select button next to that activity. Preference entry mode does not offer this feature.
