Monash Education is ranked as the number 1 education faculty in Australia, and among the top 10 in the world in major global university ranking systems.

Each of these systems rank the performance of a university but measure it in different ways, with a different emphasis placed on academic performance, research and reputation.

University rankings

Employability

Monash has practical approach to our teacher education, psychology and counselling courses, with a strong emphasis placed on professional experience and industry partnerships.

The Graduates Outcomes Survey 2022-2024 shows that 92.4% of our undergraduate and 92.5% of our postgraduate teacher education graduates secured employment within four months of completing their degree.

Research

Our research has consistently been ranked "above world standard" by the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) since 2010. ERA results highlight national research strengths in areas of critical economic and social importance across all disciplines. They also highlight the research strengths of individual universities.
