Monash consistently scores in the top five in Australia in all three of the major global university rankings systems.
Each of these systems rank the performance of a university but measure it in different ways, with a different emphasis placed on academic performance, research and reputation.

Monash has practical approach to our teacher education, psychology and counselling courses, with a strong emphasis placed on professional experience and industry partnerships.
Every year the Department of Education and Training issues a survey of recent graduates (QILT).
This survey shows that within four months of completing their degree, more than 80% of our undergraduates had found full time work.
Our Faculty has a vibrant research culture supported by our academic community, research groups, students and visiting scholars.
We have a strong track record securing grants and building public-private research collaborations. Every year, we receive more than $2 million in external grants.
