Interdisciplinary Approaches Research Group
Promoting the benefits of interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning.
About the group
We research the use of interdisciplinary thinking when teaching and learning. We explore how and what we learn when we tackle problems that don't fit neatly into one disciplinary subject. We explain how we synthesize multiple perspectives to apply and build structural knowledge while challenging disciplinary biases.
In 2023 we kick off with a roundtable discussion on a wicked social issue about youth health. We will consider how a cross-curriculum approach may provide a solution. You can watch this space for invitations.
