Psychology placements information for Master of Psychology students
Clinical placement activities are a requirement of our Master of Psychology courses.
Information on this page is for students enrolled in the following courses:
- Master of Professional Psychology
- Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology
- Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (Advanced)
Professional experience acquired in each course
Security clearances
On commencing the course and prior to commencing placements, Master of Psychology students must obtain the following:
- Provisional or General Registration with AHPRA, and
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance (or state/territory equivalent)
Apply for both as soon as you join the course. Students are required to submit these to InPlace within the first four weeks of the course.
Students are responsible for having a current provisional registration and a valid WWC card for the duration of their course and placement activities.
