Primary Science Professional Learning Program (DEECD)

The professional learning program, ‘Primary Science Matters’, was designed and implemented by the Monash team over two years (2009/2010) and involved the delivery of 22 X three day professional learning science workshops by pairs of Monash facilitators to more than 200 primary teachers from over 100 schools across both metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Embedded in the program at critical points were a number of online resources for participant reflection and numerous surveys and questionnaires designed to provide feedback to the research team on the programs pedagogical approaches and the teachers professional learning needs.
