The Class of 1954 had a reunion luncheon on Tuesday, 29 November 2022 that was held at the Westin Hotel Melbourne.
The event provided a great opportunity for classmates to reconnect, share stories, and reminisce about their time together.
Graduates Mrs Beverley Gorr and the late Mrs Val Constable OAM (both PhC 1954) did some tremendous work with spreading the word among friends and pharmacy colleagues.
Reunions hold great social benefits, providing an opportunity to get together for shared memories, laughter and the celebration of achievements.
Every five years since graduating in 1955, Beverley Gorr has organised most of the class reunions.
“We had such a good group of people who studied with us and formed lasting friendships”, noted Beverley Gorr.
The contribution of the Faculty by providing the cakes and macaroons for the lunch, shows the continued support and special connection between our alumni and the faculty.

On Sunday 8 October 2023, 36 members of the Class of '83 Pharmacy alumni gathered in Chloe’s Bar in the historic Young and Jackson Hotel in Melbourne.
The noise levels rose instantly as everyone immediately picked up old friendships formed over the last 40 years.
After the ice had (very quickly) been broken we moved into the private dining room for a delicious meal whilst continuing many conversations.
At times it looked like a giant game of musical chairs as everyone strived to catch up with as many people as possible.
It was wonderful to see everyone having a fabulous time and the consensus was that we shouldn't wait so long for the next reunion!
A huge thanks to Amanda for organising and pulling this special event together.
