The Honourable Geoffrey Connard AM travelling scholarship and award
Early Career Research Travelling Award
Student Travelling Scholarship
This award and scholarship are given to a young postdoctoral staff member or postgraduate student to pursue a research interest overseas. They rotate between our faculty's major research areas each year.
The awards honour the work of distinguished community pharmacist Geoffrey Connard, a member of the Victorian Parliament's Legislative Council from 1982–96 and a key contributor to a range of parliamentary health committees and community organisations.
First offered in 2012, both awards cover expenses associated with overseas travel to an international conference or symposium or meetings with research collaborators, mentors or industry leaders.

You apply for the Connard awards as a postdoctoral faculty staff member or postgraduate student by logging into the faculty intranet [staff only], where you'll also find more information about eligibility.
