Early Career Research Travelling Award

This award is given to a young postdoctoral staff member to pursue a research interest overseas. They rotate between our faculty's major research areas each year.

The awards honour the work of distinguished community pharmacist Geoffrey Connard, a member of the Victorian Parliament's Legislative Council from 1982–96 and a key contributor to a range of parliamentary health committees and community organisations.

First offered in 2012, both awards cover expenses associated with overseas travel to an international conference or symposium or meetings with research collaborators, mentors or industry leaders.
