2026 International Women's Day

We celebrated #IWD2026 by hearing from some motivating and inspiring women and allies at our Her Research Matters International Women’s Day Event. We had a fantastic show of support from students and academic staff at MIPS attending the event.

A line of incredible speakers including Dr Tracy Josephs, Dr Arisbel Gondin, Dr Angelina Lim, Dr Li Shean Toh, Brooke Blakeley, Dr Emma Watson, Dr Alex Stupple, and Dr Emily Pilkington shared their remarkable research journeys and personal reflections. Their insights on career pathways, resilience, and collaboration inspired all who attended.

A special thank you also goes the Faculty members who helped make this event possible, including Dr Sanju Babu Reddiar, Dr Denise Wootten, and Dr Ghizal Siddiqui, for their valuable support and contributions in chairing and organising the event.
