Senior Pharmacists' Network

Enjoy some group therapy

Since it began in July 2007, the Senior Pharmacists' Network (formerly the Retired Pharmacists' Group) has become popular with pharmacy alumni wanting to socialise and keep up with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical science and other general topics of interest.

Valda Comber (BPharm, 1972) hosts the group, which meets on the last Tuesday of the month.

The meetings feature expert talks on topical issues, followed by a light lunch. Depending on the venue, they also provide opportunities to tour the Parkville campus, meet current staff and students and see our cutting-edge facilities.

To register your interest, and receive regular invitations, please contact the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Foundation by email at or call +61 3 9903 9087.

If you're interested in sharing your knowledge and experience with current students, check out our faculty's mentoring program.
