Flagship Event 2026

The HRM Flagship Event 2026 celebrated the achievements of professionals who foster and elevate women in research.

The 2026 HRM Impact Award recognised Rosemary Manning, Chief Operating Officer at MIPS, for 15+ years of leadership supporting high-impact research. As a HRM Policy and Philanthropy Lead (2021–2025), Rosemary has advanced gender equity initiatives, mentored researchers, and championed accessibility, inclusion, and research culture.

The award celebration was followed by stories from the Science Meets Parliament 2026 attendees. Dr Alene Yong and Dr Shin Liau attended the event in Canberra and shared insights from their experience highlighting the importance of engagement between the STEM sector and policymakers.

This event also marked the launch of the new HRM video, showcasing the growth, collaboration, and impact of women researchers in STEM across the HRM community.

HRM would like to thank the Faculty members, including Dr Sanju Babu Reddiar and Dr Denise Wootten, for their support in organising the event, and to everyone who attended this inspiring celebration. We hope to see you at future events soon.
