Reunion Recaps
Class of 1975 – 50 year Reunion
The VCP class of 1975 gathered on 21 September to celebrate 50 years since graduation. The reunion was held at the home of one of the graduates and the casual environment, drinks and canapes created a wonderful event.
This group has kept in touch with reunions at the 10, 30 and 40 year anniversaries so it was a celebration of long friendships and memories of happy times at the VCP.
Another 20 graduates for whom we have details were unable to attend but hopefully they can join for the next planned reunion in 5 years.
If you are from the Class of 1975 and want to be included on the contact list for future reunions or events, please contact Marian Simkin at pharmacy.alumni@monash.edu

Class of 1981 – 44 Year Reunion
A few guys from the Class of 1981 planning to get together for a meal, morphed into a reunion of 25 Alumni at a pub in Fitzroy on Saturday, 25 October 2025.
It was a great night catching up with “old” friends, so good in fact, that we've already set aside a date for next year on 24 October 2026 to do it all again and celebrate 45 years.

2025 Cossar Club Event
On Thursday 13 November this year, Dean Professor Arthur Christopoulos FAA FAHMS hosted members of the Faculty's Cossar Club for an intimate lunch in Cossar Hall. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Foundation established the Cossar Club to recognise the leadership and generosity of the Cossar family, and to thank all who support the Faculty through bequests. Over lunch, attendees received Faculty updates, engaged in a Q&A with the Dean, and reconnected with old friends.
A number of Cossar Club members are former students of the Victorian College of Pharmacy, and others have deep connections to the Faculty through close family members. One attendee noted that, 'Coming back to Monash Parkville and being in Cossar Hall is like being in my second home.'
The Faculty is grateful for the continued generosity of all its donors and supporters. If you want more information about how to leave the Faculty a 'Gift in Will', please refer to this brochure.
