Other requirements

In addition to the immunisation compliance process, you will need to fulfil several other requirements from Second Year onwards.

These include:

• A valid Working With Children Check
• Tuberculosis screening (can be completed in Second year but not mandatory until Third Year)
• Annual police checks*
• Annual flu vaccination. Note this must be completed in Australia, and be valid for the current year’s flu strain. The yearly flu vaccine is usually released in Australia in late March or early April. Vaccinations taken overseas or before the release of the relevant year’s Australian flu vaccine will not be accepted
