All students are required to undergo a police check prior to commencement of placement.
Students need to obtain a national police records check annually, and are considered valid for student placements for 12 months from the date of issue.
Students who have resided overseas for more than 12 months in the past 10 years should also have a police check from their country of residence (including English translation) and/or complete a statutory declaration stating that they have never, in Australia or another country, been convicted of murder or sexual assault, or convicted of, and sentenced to imprisonment for, any form of assault.
More information in regards to police checks can be accessed from Victoria Police.
If you have a previous, current or pending court outcomes or convictions please contact the placement office.
