A gift that opens global opportunities

Susan Yule.
When she enrolled, Susan Yule had no idea where her pharmacy degree would take her. Today, she reflects on a career which has spanned the US, the UK and Europe. Her work has been incredibly varied, meaningful and impactful.
For Susan, pharmacy is entwined with her own family history. When her father went to the Victorian College of Pharmacy, pharmacists achieved a trade certificate and then worked in pharmacies and hospitals.
Today, current PhD students like Susan’s niece are developing work which is vastly different. She marvels at how dramatically the field has evolved over the years, and is awed by the potential of the future: “It is my hope that in another 50 years the study of pharmacy will have evolved even further into something we can’t even imagine today.”
When considering her gift, Susan realised that there is something more she can do once she retires. Her gift can continue her positive impact on the future of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
