• Lives alone in the house left to him by his parents who were killed in an automobile accident 5 years ago. He has no close family other than an uncle who lives in Sydney. He has few friends as people find his epileptic seizures distressing and unpredictable.
• He suffers from the side-effects of his anti-epileptic medication.
• He works part-time on the railways and has a disability allowance.
• He doesn’t drive and has no outside activities, eats poorly mostly take-away and is overweight. Spends time surfing the internet and chat-rooms.
