Enhanced Research Experience
All PhD students who have commenced in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2017 have access to an Enhanced Research Experience (ERE) in addition to the research and skills training components of your degree. The program allows students to undertake one of two EREs: Laboratory Rotation or Research Placement.
ERE Funding Support
To support you with the costs of your ERE, each PhD student has access to a total of up to $17,507 funding (this amount is adjusted each year to be equivalent to six months of stipend support at the MGS rate).
Funds may be used in a variety of ways such as:
- To cover travel costs to and from an interstate/overseas placement and related accommodation/living costs
- Stipend support to offset the time taken to participate in the Laboratory Rotation.
The $17,507 allocation is ONLY for the ERE and cannot be used for purposes outside of this e.g. conference attendance, scholarship extension that does not relate to the ERE etc.
Apply for ERE funding
Enrolled students should read further details of the ERE program and access the application form on the Moodle site.
