Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science Course Education Team welcome all of our new students! New students must complete the steps as per the Get Started website.
Refer to the relevant Handbook Entry for details regarding the structure of your course and unit selection. Please note when selecting units for enrolment you should always refer to the Handbook Entry from the year in which you commenced the degree.
You must enrol into units for both semester 1 and 2.

Placements

The Scholars offering is embedded in P3002 Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Advanced) Honours degree as part of our offerings for high-achieving school leavers. Students receive the following: a scholarship (domestic students), an Invitation to an annual networking event with the Dean and key members of the course team, an invitation to the regular academic seminars sponsored the Faculty, and recognition at the Faculty’s annual prize giving event. A course requirement is that scholars maintain a distinction average of 70% annually.

Winter placements
Commencing 1 week following the last week of Semester 1 exams until the end of the week prior to Semester 2 start	All students must indicate their availability to do a placement during this period during the placement preferencing process.
Second-semester placements
First 4 weeks	Single degree students (including Advanced Honours) may not decline to do a placement during this period. Double degree students may undertake a part-time placement during this period.
Weeks 5-12	Open to part-time placement for all students. Students may not decline a placement during this window.
Summer placements - INDUSTRY PLACEMENTS ONLY
Commencing 1 week following the Semester 2 exam period until end of second week of Feb	Adv Hon and Double Degree students may do their placement during this period without disruption to their graduation. Bachelor students (3 year degree) may do their placement during this period with a delayed graduation. All students must indicate their availability to do a placement during this period during the placement preferencing process, and indicate if they agree to a delayed graduation.
