Important course information

Course structure

The MUMTP is sequenced across three steps and structured using an active learning approach. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may mean that you are not required to complete all three steps.

Step 1 - Self-directed online learning Steps 2a and 2b - Simulated workshops and assessments Step 3 - Experiential learning
Engage in our interactive online self-directed learning modules, developed by leading experts, to consolidate your knowledge of the MMR process and the management of older patients. Practice your oral communication, interprofessional collaboration and problem-solving skills in a series of simulated MMR style workshops (2a) and assessments (2b). Demonstrate your competency in core MMR processes by completing workplace-based assessments supervised by an experienced MMR pharmacist.

Costs

The program costs $1600 for general registered pharmacists to complete the full course and assessment.

For pharmacists seeking re-credentialing, a personalised program of learning and assessment will be tailored to you, taking your RPL into account. For most re-credentialing pharmacists the estimated cost is $850.
