Australian Women of Mathematics: An Exhibit 


An exhibit showcasing 16 personal portraits of female mathematicians from around Australia.

Kate Smith-Miles and Jennifer Flegg, two of the mathematicians featured in the exhibit, will attend as special guests to share their journeys, followed by a Q&A and nibbles.

When: 3:00-5:00pm, Friday, 13th August 2021

The School of Mathematics runs several seminar series throughout the year in our research areas, as well as colloquia and other talks aimed at a more general mathematical audience. These talks are often delivered by visiting academics from local and international institutions, as well as by Monash researchers.

Note: Due to the COVID-19 crisis, our in-person seminar series have been suspended until further notice.
In their place, there are online seminar series organised by our staff and colleagues at other universities:
