AMSI Vacation Research Scholarships

Join the School of Mathematics as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Computational and Applied Mathematics and drive high-quality contributions to the teaching and curriculum development, inspiring the next generation of mathematicians. In this role you will also conduct cutting-edge research in computational and applied mathematics, including but not limited to optimisation, scientific machine learning and AI for science, numerical mathematics, inverse problems and scientific computing. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the design, analysis, and/or application of mathematical and computational methods for scientific and engineering problems arising in areas such as climate science, physics, and the life sciences.
