EAE Distinguished Lecturer 2020

We are pleased to announce that the EAE Distinguished Lecturer for 2020 will be Prof Tamsin Mather from Oxford University. Prof Mather is a vulcanologist interested in how volcanic processes produce natural hazards, and how volcanoes provide unique windows into Earth’s geological history.
Due to current travel restrictions, Prof Mather is unable to visit but will give a virtual seminar entitled:
The impact of volcanism on Earth's atmosphere: from present-day volcanic 'pollution' to geological mass extinction events.
Prof Tamsin Mather, Oxford University
Date and time: 5pm AEST 3rd June 2020
We are hoping to reschedule Prof Mather’s in person visit in the future, so watch this space!
