The School is going through an exciting period of renewal - investing significantly in people and facilities. We provide research opportunities for creative students and scientists to work on a wide range of fundamental research topics which will impact future generations. Our research interests include: astronomy and astrophysics, atomic and molecular physics, biomedical imaging, cosmology, condensed matter physics, particle physics, quantum science, synchrotron science and many other topics. Our students have the opportunity to get involved in research in 2D materials, ultracold atomic gases, quantum computing, nanotechnology, and much more, working and learning alongside our research scientists.
