Mathematics Learning Centre

The Mathematics Learning Centre will be available online via Zoom, during the October intake semester 2021/22.

MLC Sessions will take place each week of lectures in the October intake up until the second week of exams. There will be no MLC during week 9 and over mid-semester breaks.

Please see the MLC Moodle page for more details.

The Mathematics Learning Centre is a drop-in centre for one-to-one help for students enrolled in mathematics and statistics units.

The MLC is open on weekdays (except public holidays) from week 2, including the mid-semester break, swotvac and the first two weeks of the exam period.

Monday-Friday -- 10:00am -  2:00pm

On-campus drop-in sessions will be held concurrently with Zoom sessions.

The MLC experience will be given both on-campus and online.
We strongly recommend students join in person sessions, but concurrent Zoom sessions will be monitored at the same time.

Whenever COVID restrictions prevent staff and students from attending campus, the MLC will run online only until restrictions ease and on-campus sessions are able to resume.

On campus:
Room G39, 9 Rainforest Walk, Clayton Campus

Refer to Moodle page for meeting details: "MLC- Mathematics Learning Centre - 2021"; all currently enrolled Mathematics students should have access to this Moodle page.

Priority given to students in level-one units, but all year levels students are welcome. This includes Mathematics units taught with the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Engineering.
