Industry Leaders Scholarship
The Jemena Industry Leaders Scholarship is generously supported by Jemena to provide financial support and encourage female students studying Engineering to pursue undergraduate studies specialising in electrical engineering.

My future seemed uncertain, with no hope of ever going on to higher education before this scholarship. It has changed my life. I'm now able to envision and work towards a better life for me and my family. I've been able to grow my skills from professional development activities such as Engineers without Borders, and am now working towards my goal to use engineering to give back to the less privileged communities.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- A current female student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.
- From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories.
- Preference will be given to students specialising in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.
Benefits
- $10,000 per annum for up to two years.
Number offered
- Two scholarships available at any time.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on academic achievement and need.
- Preference will be given to women in a underrepresented area ie STEM.
