This program combines our Implementation Science Masterclass and goes further by leading into a 12-month Mentoring program that builds on the frameworks discussed during the Masterclass, applying your learning to real projects with tailored support from experience implementation leaders.

Our goal is to create a workshop experience that is both engaging and practical, aiding you in the enhancement of your knowledge and skills in implementation.

Program structure

Program includes: -Pre-work E-module (videos, recordings, readings) -Pre-touchpoint meeting with one of our facilitators -2-day Masterclass (online or in-person) -6 × 1-hour online mentoring sessions -2 × full-day workshops (mid and final; online or in-person) -12-months access to the MCHRI Digital Implementation Toolkit

Professor Helena Teede

Professor Helena Teede is a clinician and academic. She is an endocrinologist who is strongly committed to leading and driving evidence into practice to ensure improved health outcomes. She is the Director of Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI), Monash University.

Dr Nicole Pope
Dr Nicole Pope

Dr Nicole Pope is an experienced researcher and accredited implementation support practitioner with expertise in child and family health, caregiver engagement, and digital health innovation. She has led and contributed to national and international studies and is passionate about making systems more responsive, equitable, and prevention-oriented. She also lectures in implementation science and supports training programs across MCHRI.

Joanne Cunningham
Joanne Cunningham

Jo qualified as a physiotherapist and spent her early career working clinically in hospitals, private practice and on APA Branch Council. In the latter part of her career, she has led improvement projects and operational excellence programs in health and a variety of industries. She has contributed to some large scale transformation projects. Her focus is leading and coaching operational excellence (maturity) and change in complex and brownfield settings.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

Yes, you will be required to bring along a new or existing project to work on for this course.

Access to the self-paced E-module

Once registered, you shall be invited to register to Monash University's new Guroo Academy platform where you shall gain access to the E-module and resources for the program.

Where are the facilitated in-person sessions held?

Programs that have blended delivery, self-paced E-module and facilitated in-person sessions are predominately held at Monash Health, Clayton VIC 3168.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change. Please read our cancellation policy carefully to understand your options:

If you notify us of your cancellation at least one month (30 days) before the start date of the program, you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the program fee.

Cancellations made less than one month (30 days) before the start date of the program are not eligible for a refund. However, we do offer a one-time transfer to another program date, subject to availability.

How to Cancel

To cancel your participation, please email our support team at mchri.shortcourses@monash.edu. Ensure you provide your registration details and the reason for the cancellation.

Transfer Policy

The one-time transfer must be used within 12 months of the original program registration. Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

If you are unable to attend the program after the one-time transfer, the cancellation policy applies (see above).

No-Show Policy

If you do not attend the program and have not notified us as per the cancellation policy, you will forfeit the program fee and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

Special Circumstances

In cases of medical emergencies or other serious unforeseen events, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider such situations on a case-by-case basis and may offer alternative solutions at our discretion.
