Introduction to Australian Physiotherapy Practice Workshops - Cardio/Musc/Neuro - PDM1198

The Designing accessible research, education and services (DARES) short course will introduce the learner to the importance of - and strategies to address - information access and inclusion in teaching, research and professional practice. The DARES short course will be suitable for educators, researchers and practicing professionals across multiple disciplines, including business, law, Information Technology (IT), arts, graphic design, education, medicine, nursing and allied health.

If you register to attend all three workshops, the cost will be $1,200, rather than $450 per workshop.

Maximum participants: 20 each workshop.

Minimum participants: 10 each workshop

Cost includes pre-reading materials

Morning and afternoon tea is provided. There are two cafes on campus where you can purchase food.

Please be mindful of the following points before you register:

  1. For all Monash University physiotherapy courses, including short courses, you must meet the minimum English language requirements which is the equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 7.0 (no band lower than 6.5) See: http://www.physiotherapyboard.gov.au/Registration-Standards.aspx
  2. The courses have been developed for the Australian context and may or may not be relevant to international settings.

Please note the following cancellation policy and COVID information:

  • We reserve the right to cancel any of the workshops if the minimum number of 10 registrants is not reached. Full refunds will be available to those registered in this instance.
  • Cancellation requests submitted up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date will be entitled to a full refund, less 10% for administration fees.
  • Cancellation requests submitted between 2 weeks and 1 day (or prior to online material being granted and accessed) before the workshop date will be entitled to a 50% refund.
  • Cancellation requests submitted after online material has been granted (1 day prior to workshop) or on or after the day of the workshop will not be eligible for a refund.
