We are living in a time when the impacts of climate change, planetary and human health are crucial to our daily lives. Health professionals, organisations, educators, industry bodies and leading global experts all agree; there is a rapidly growing need to understand the health sector’s contribution to the environmental and climate crises.

The course equips you with foundational knowledge of planetary health and an understanding of the urgent need to reorient our health systems by focusing on rapid decarbonisation and transition to circular economy principles.

Program structure

Delivered fully online, the short course is entirely self paced and consists of 4 course modules. Expected time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours per module.

The course format consists of:

  • Online learning materials including pre-recorded videos, readings, podcasts and case studies
  • Short quizzes

Participants have up to 12 weeks to complete the modules from course registration.
