Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS)

For some people, the opportunity to demonstrate their potential for university study may have been restricted due to their financial, geographical, cultural, health, or personal circumstances.

The Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) provides special consideration in admission to an undergraduate course at Monash University for people who have experienced educational disadvantage. SEAS is available for Australian citizens and permanent residents of Australia.

Students apply for SEAS via VTAC.

Rural and Indigenous applicants eligible for the Dean’s Rural List and/or the Dean’s Indigenous List should also submit a SEAS application via VTAC.

Applicants whose circumstances have been affected AFTER the VTAC SEAS closing date should complete and submit the Monash University Special Access Scheme Form. Supporting documentation providing evidence of your claims must be provided with your application.

For further information about SEAS at Monash, visit the website which also links to handy SEAS calculator that will assist you in estimating how SEAS bonusing may boost your chances of being accepted into a Monash course.

Applicants for SEAS and/or the DIL/DRL should check their eligibility for all schemes.
