The Graduate Certificate of Food Science and Agribusiness is a 24-credit point course that provides expert training in all aspects of food science, supply chain and marketing, including the future of food production and supply. You will learn about the value-addition that occurs along the supply chain, new technologies and trends that impact the business of food marketing, and the all-important interface with consumers. The course is a pathway to a Master of Food Science and Agribusiness (S6004).

Entry Requirements

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in science, engineering, dietetics or health, with at least 60% (credit) average, or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.

The total fees for 2026 for this 24 credit point (6 month full-time or 12 month part-time) course are:

The Commonwealth Government has allocated Commonwealth Supported Places for this course for the 2021 calendar year only.

Only full fee places will be offered from 2022.
