Outcomes of the Master of Business Information Systems
Through the course, you’ll learn how to:
- critically analyse business problems, design IT solutions and measure performance while communicating your findings, rationale and process.
- engage in business information systems work to a standard aligned to senior professional practice
- be adept at conducting investigations and research into understanding business information systems problems, whether for professional or academic reasons

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.
Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)
Qualifications
Entry level 1: | An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), not necessarily in IT, with at least a credit (60%) average. |
Entry level 2: | An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline relating to information systems or with an information systems major, with completed studies in: foundational programming, databases, systems analysis and design and an understanding of the major enterprise IT applications including transactional, managerial and analytical applications, with at least a credit (60%) average. |

Partner with another course
Double degree courses allow you to study towards two different degrees at the same time, and graduate with two separate qualifications. And because a required subject in one course can count as an elective in the other, our double degrees take up to two years less than if you studied for the two degrees separately.
