Master's degree/Master's degree

This international double master's program enables you to complete the requirements of Monash University’s Master of Public Policy as well as the MA Public Policy degree with O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in Sonipat, India.

The Master of Public Policy is a comprehensive degree that builds practical knowledge and essential skills for international careers in policy making and management across the spectrum of public sector activities. The multi-disciplinary program develops understanding of the processes of policy formation, the delivery of policy programs, and the political and structural realities that can impact on decision-making.

Our Master of Public Policy graduates are equipped for careers in public, not-for-profit and private organisations engaged in policy development and program delivery at intergovernmental, national, or regional government levels. You’ll be skilled to work in policy areas across both the public and private sectors, from government organisations, multi-nationals through to independent consultancies.

Combining expertise from across the university (Social Sciences, Health, Law, Science, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, Engineering and Education), your study combines a focus on foundation knowledge and understanding of critical issues in public policy, governance, and policy analysis and evaluation, with the choice of a broad range of policy specialisations, including:
