The Master of Public Health at Monash University, Indonesia prepares driven and inquisitive healthcare professionals to become forward-thinking and responsive health leaders who will investigate, adapt to, and improve ongoing and emerging public health challenges in Indonesia and internationally.
This course educates students through a multidisciplinary curriculum, combining peer-to-peer learning, evidence-based theory, and contextualised application, to intelligently respond to complex and real problems in a variety of workplace settings and health sectors.
Students are supported by experts at the forefront of Indonesian and global public health issues and taught life-long career skills, as they navigate disciplines and issues across outbreaks, prevention, policy, research of infectious and chronic, non-communicable diseases, public health communication, and more.

Additional requirements
*Related fields include: Medical, nursing, allied health, other health related degree e.g. chiropractic, psychology, public health, environmental health, paramedic, imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine), biomedical engineering, dietetics/nutrition, pharmacy, social work, medical science/biomedical science/immunology, health science, laboratory science, science, and health economics; or in a non-related discipline, e.g. education, law, media, IT, journalism, communications, arts.
**Relevant work experience includes: Health industry, (e.g. government, policy, provider such as a hospital, clinic), non-government organisation (NGO), academic or research institution, consulting, pharmaceutical company.
If you’re applying on the basis of work experience, you’re required to provide the following:
- A detailed curriculum vitae, outlining your employment history along with detailed job descriptions.
- Two references from a current or previous employer, on official letterhead, supporting the responsibilities outlined in the CV.
English entry requirements
Applicants for this program must meet English Level A.

Current Monash students
You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.
Please note that if you apply for a course transfer, you should still enrol in your current course as if you were continuing so as not to jeopardise your enrolment in the Faculty if your transfer application is unsuccessful. More about Course Transfer.

Fees
The annual tuition fee for the master’s program is IDR 224 million for Indonesian students and IDR 248 million for international students.
To graduate with a Master of Public Health degree, students must complete 96 credit points, with a total program cost of IDR 448 million for Indonesian students and IDR 496 million for international students.
Note: Fees are to be paid prior to course commencement and subject to change annually.
