Advanced Engineering - E6017
Master's degree
The Master of Advanced Engineering will equip you with the specialist skills needed to further develop your career. You’ll explore new ways to approach challenges whilst gaining a greater understanding of your specialisation. Designed to provide engineers with the opportunity to specialise in their chosen field, the Master of Advanced Engineering offers streams in both research and industry, enabling you to tailor the course to your needs.
Choose from two streams
Industry
The Master of Advanced Engineering industry experience stream sets itself apart by providing opportunities for you to undertake Industry Experience (IE) or an alternate unit as prescribed by the faculty. Further, it provides units focused on the leadership and management of projects in complex systems.
Research
The Master's Thesis Research stream is designed for students considering research or academia as a career pathway. Whilst it contains several core units designed to develop your specialist engineering skills, it also allows you to complete a master thesis, focusing on a project aligned with your specialisation.
