You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and have a minimum of five years work experience in a professional setting*.

*Applicants applying on the basis of work experience are required to provide a detailed curriculum vitae, outlining their employment history and professional experience.

Applicants are required to submit a short personal statement that will address the following questions:

  • Why a global mindset is required for a successful Global Executive MBA experience and outcome.
  • How the Monash Global Executive MBA will impact on their professional career plans.
  • How they will draw on their business experience to contribute to the cohort’s peer learning.

Applicants reaching the final application stage will be required to attend an interview.

English entry requirements

Applicants are strongly recommended to attend an information session before applying.

The Global Executive MBA is an 18-month course that is completed in two parts.

Alternate exits

You may exit this course early and apply to graduate with one of the following awards, provided you have satisfied the requirements for that award during your enrolment in this master's course:

  • Graduate Certificate of Business (B4001) after successful completion of 24 credit points of study with a minimum of 24 credit points at level 4 or above.
  • Graduate Diploma of Business (B5001) after successful completion of 48 credit points of study with a minimum of 48 credit points at level 4 or above.

You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.

Enrolment Obligations

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course. See standard 8.19 and 8.20 of National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
