Urban Design

Expert master degree

Help design the future we all want to live in.

As Indonesia expands at a rapid pace, there’s a growing and crucial demand for professionals who can critically address the economic, environmental, political and social factors that impact on the design of its cities and urban spaces.

Indonesia has experienced significant growth in the last 30 years, propelling it into a new era of prosperity. While the hope and potential for the country is high, this growth has brought with it critical challenges through urban population explosion, poverty stagnation, climate crisis and deep inequality.

Our Master of Urban Design is a truly interdisciplinary course covering economics, engineering, environmental science, geography, international development and a variety of other fields that inform and impact city planning and liveable, sustainable development.

Students will deepen their knowledge of the big picture issues like climate resilience, intelligent tech and mobilising human capital, while sharpening their skills and preparing for career opportunities in the practical application of planning and design in urban and property development, public policy and real estate.

Graduating with an internationally-recognised Masters from a world-renowned and global University, these forward-thinking and empathetic professionals will take their new, in-demand skills and help drive the design of a prosperous new Indonesia.
