How is behavioural insight important in this course?
You will be required to:
- Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in reflective practice and self-directed learning.
- Be receptive to and responding with flexibility and openness to constructive feedback and differences in opinion.
- Be proactive in managing your physical and emotional state in order to be able to develop and maintain an appropriate relationship with a diverse range of clients, peers and professionals.
- Identify when a clinical issue is outside of your scope or expertise, or when your practice may be affected by an impairment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a culturally responsive manner.

You will be required to:

For example, handle appropriately sensitive and confidential information in clinical and classroom settings and recognise this extends beyond the teaching environment.

You will be required to:

- Gather information from patients and others, accurately record and document information gathered and provide explanations and health information to others including treatment plans.

You will be required to:
- Critically appraise, integrate and apply academic knowledge, theory, research evidence, policy and procedures.
- Formulate, develop and test hypotheses, and develop treatment plans in clinical practice settings.
- Accurately score, calculate and interpret psychological test and assessment data, write and communicate findings in a manner appropriate for the context/setting.
- Conduct sessions for clients that are person-centred and collaborative and informed by evidence-based formulation and treatment goals.
Your ability to acquire information, carry out a range of tasks and procedures suitable to the required level of capability, and understand and carry out your assigned role in adverse situations.
