Monash University’s Vice-Chancellor’s ASEAN Awards support high-achieving undergraduate students to study at Monash, reinforcing our deep commitment and connection to the region – socially, economically and culturally.

About the Vice-Chancellor’s ASEAN Awards program
The program is designed to ease the full cost of study for international students – combining tuition support, travel and relocation assistance, visa fee coverage, and other services into one bundled award.
New undergraduate students from all 10 ASEAN member countries will be eligible: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
From Semester 1, 2026, a total of 67 awards will be offered annually. Students will be selected through a competitive process with country-based quotas to ensure broad representation across the region.

Hanh Truong from Ho Chi Minh City received a personal welcome call from our Vice-Chancellor ahead of moving to Melbourne to study towards a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science Advanced (Honours).
