Achieving Potential Indigenous Support Scholarship
I grew up in a regional area and there was only one university in my state. I was a high achiever and wanted to strive for great things, and that path brought me to Monash University. This didn't come without its challenges, I was relocating interstate to attend University and this meant I needed to become self-sufficient. My single mother was not in a position to financially support me in this endeavour, and so if I didn't receive a Monash scholarship I might not have been able to move and go to university, because the costs of moving and paying for everything myself were a lot. My Monash scholarships allow me to work only part time, giving me the ability to focus on my studies and still have the flexibility for leisure without worrying so much about money.
