Sir John Monash Scholarship for Distinction
The Alfred Research Alliance Honours Scholarship (formerly the AMREP Honours Scholarship) is a scholarship for students studying an honours program at the Alfred precinct in Melbourne. You could receive a payment of $6000.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- Completing the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
- Commencing or continuing in a full-time Alfred Research Alliance (ARA) honours program at the Alfred campus.
- Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80 or above across your undergraduate study.
Benefits
- $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for a maximum of one year.

Selection criteria
- Awarded based on academic achievement.
- You will be ranked according to your academic results. Shortlisted students may be interviewed.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain full-time enrolment and demonstrate that satisfactory progress is being achieved, as determined by a brief report from your honours supervisor.
