Bowness Family Foundation Scholarship
Achieving Potential Scholarship for Excellence
This scholarship will assist a talented student without the financial means to access tertiary education at Monash, and will provide sufficient financial support to enable a student from an under-represented community to engage with the richness and breadth of curricula and co-curricular opportunities available to a Monash student.
Ruosen San Nhi Chung
Monash Mentor Scholarship
Being a recipient of the Achieving Potential Support Scholarship has been transformative in my academic journey. Throughout my studies, I have encountered challenges that have tested my resilience, such as navigating the complexities of remote learning during the pandemic and balancing personal responsibilities alongside my education. The financial support from the scholarship has not only eased the burden of these obstacles but has also allowed me to fully focus on my studies and creative development.
Being part of the Fine Arts faculty has fostered my passion for visual storytelling, and the scholarship has been instrumental in providing growth opportunities, both academically and personally. It has removed some financial barriers, allowing me to access resources that enhance my skills and take part in collaborative projects, travels, and exhibitions that I might not have been able to engage with otherwise.
Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career that bridges art and community engagement, using my creative practice to inspire mindfulness and connection. This scholarship has empowered me to reach for that potential, and I am deeply grateful for the doors it has opened.
