Monash Leaders Scholarship

The Brain Norton Community Leadership Scholarship will support a talented second year Engineering student, participating as an Access Monash Mentor at Monash University. Generously supported by Dr King Gan, this scholarship celebrates the achievements and contributions of Brian Norton, both a pragmatic engineer and a significant figure in the community through his deep commitment to the Rotary Club of Glen Waverley.

Receiving a scholarship helps me to focus on my studies. It also means that I know I have the support of others in order to study and reach my goals.

Am I eligible?

You must be one of the following:

  • An Australian citizen
  • A New Zealand citizen
  • Australian permanent resident
  • Australian humanitarian visa holder

You must meet the following criteria:

Benefits

  • $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for up to three years.
  • An invitation to meet the donor and to present at the Glen Waverley Rotary Club

Number offered

One scholarship will be offered.

Selection criteria

  • This scholarship is awarded based on need and leadership potential.

To retain this scholarship:

  • You must participate as an Access Monash Mentor
  • You will be asked to provide a progress report to the donor as requested by Donor Relations
