Achieving Potential Support Scholarship

Moving interstate to study, the scholarship I received significantly reduced the financial stress I experienced in my first year and allowed me to focus on my studies. I've been able to have a better work-life balance and focus on my hobbies.

Am I eligible?

You must be one of the following:

  • An Indigenous Australian

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Commencing student intending to enrol in an undergraduate course in the Faculty of Engineering at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • Commencing (Yr 12) students must achieve an ATAR score of 80+.
  • To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. This can be emailed to wci-ss@monash.edu. If you have any queries please contact the William Cooper Institute on 9905 9034.

Benefits

$8000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of your degree.

Selection criteria

To retain this scholarship:

You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
