Monash Accommodation Scholarship
Are you from a regional or remote area of Australia? If you are planning to relocate from your home to move closer to a Monash campus, or will be commuting from a regional or remote area for on-campus study, you may be eligible for a Monash Relocation Grant. Recipients will receive $6000 to assist with moving or commuting costs

Monash Relocation Grant
Growing up in regional Queensland, my opportunities for attending university were limited due to my circumstances. The Achieving Potential Support Scholarship and Monash Relocation Grant has provided me financial assistance and support while I study at Monash. This relief for my family and I, has allowed me to focus on my studies and strive for excellence. Receiving this scholarship has been a transformative opportunity, enabling me to pursue a degree I once thought wouldn't be possible.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing student undertaking an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia
- Be an Indigenous Australian and be relocating or commuting from a regional, remote or interstate location to a Monash campus OR
- Be a domestic student with a low income and be relocating or commuting from a regional or remote area to a Monash campus.

$6000 one-off payment.

150 per year
Selection criteria
- Based on need.
- Consideration will be given to other forms of disadvantage such as difficult circumstances, recent refugee, disability or medical condition, or attended an under-represented school.
- Preference will be given to Year 12 school leavers.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) through VTAC between Monday 29 July (9am) and Friday 11 October (5pm) to be automatically considered
- Non VTAC applicants - apply directly to Monash
- This scholarship can be deferred.
