Industry Leaders Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled or intending to enrol in a Bachelor of Paramedicine (Honours) at a Monash campus in Australia.
The scholarship was created in honour of Ric (Frederic) Bouvier who was an icon in the evolution of ambulance services and the paramedic profession in Australia.

Receiving the Ric (Frederic) Bouvier Scholarship fills me with immense gratitude and appreciation. I am truly thankful to the donor for their generous support. This scholarship has helped to relieve financial pressures and helps me dedicate myself fully to my research on ambulance ramping, aiming to make significant contributions to pre-hospital healthcare.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled or intending to enrol in the Bachelor of Paramedicine (Honours) at a Monash campus in Australia
- A minimum of 70% in at least 24 credit points at third year level

Selection criteria
- Awarded on the basis of academic merit and interview.
- Preference will be given to applicants who will be working on projects related to rural health.
To retain this scholarship:
Recipients must maintain a minimum of Weighted Average Mark of 70.
How to apply
- Semester 1 2025 scholarship applications will be open between Tuesday 7th January 2025 (12:00pm) and Thursday 13th February 2025 (12:00pm).
- For this scholarship you must submit a separate online Application form.
