The Vice-Chancellor’s Pathway ASEAN Award supports students to enrol at Monash College, a pathway institution that provides Diplomas and Monash University Foundation Year programs to help students transition into Monash University, reinforcing our deep commitment and connection to the region – socially, economically and culturally.

My experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic inspired me to one day contribute to vaccine research and development. I investigated many Australian universities, and Monash’s pharmaceutical rankings put it above the rest for me.
I’m so thankful that this awards scheme has enabled me to pursue this career dream.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing student intending to enrol full-time in a Monash University Foundation Year (standard) or Monash College Diploma (Part 2).
- You must be from one of 10 ASEAN member countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Selection criteria
- Awarded through a merit-based competitive process.
To retain this scholarship:
- Continuation of this award is conditional upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress, defined as passing all enrolled units in each semester.
How to apply
- No application is required. All eligible students who apply for a relevant course at Monash College will be automatically assessed.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred
