1. How do I verify a TOEFL test result for an applicant?
In the English Proficiency section of the Agent Portal:

5. Can TOEFL tests also be verified in the Supporting Documents section?
No. This feature has been removed to simplify the process. TOEFL test results can only be verified in the English Proficiency section.
6. How many English tests can an agent add in the English Proficiency section?
Only one. Supporting multiple entries is planned for future release.
7. Is an uploaded document of the TOEFL test still required?
Yes. Even with successful verification, the TOEFL test result must be uploaded in Supporting Documents.
8. Is the English Proficiency question mandatory?
The following question is not mandatory to answer in the Agent Portal however it is encouraged that applicants indicate an answer to this question:

9. English Language Program
The following question appears when the applicant has indicated they would like to be considered or not considered for a Monash English program in My.App. The agent is able to change the answer to this question in the Agent Portal in consultation with the applicant.

The above question is mandatory to answer if the applicant has specified that ‘The applicant has completed/The applicant will complete a Monash approved English test .
10. How can I now update the applicant’s previous name?
If the applicant has changed their name, you will be prompted to confirm whether the previous name was mononymous. Based on the answer, either a single previous name field or separate first and last name fields (both mandatory) are shown.

11. How does the name validation now work?
If the name on the test doesn't match, the system checks Previous First/Last Name before failing.
12. How are validation and consent handled for English Proficiency selections?
Agents must now review updated explanatory text about English language requirements. If an applicant answered the Monash English Program question in My.App, that value is carried through. If not, agents may provide the answer directly in the portal.
13. How can applicants authorise Monash as a score recipient?
Before verifying the test in the Agent Portal, students must ensure they have authorised Monash University as a score recipient in theirTOEFL account through the booking portal. The verification will fail if this authorisation has not been provided.
